How To Use Lost Angel Vape — Mate 50K Kit & Sphere 35K
Both Lost Angel devices are draw-activated, USB-C rechargeable, and ship factory-sealed. There are no buttons, no firmware menus, and no learning curve — but there are a few things to know on day one so you don't waste the first pod.
Day One — From Unboxing to First Draw
-
1
Verify the QR code
Scan the QR code on the side of the box with your phone camera. The portal should show batch, factory, and ship-date. A code that's already been scanned by someone else is a red flag — keep the box and email us.
-
2
Charge if needed
Plug USB-C in. The indicator lights up while charging, turns off (or shows full on the Sphere display) when done. Full charge takes 30–45 minutes. Use a 5V phone charger — not a fast-charge wall brick.
-
3
First draw — go slow
Both devices are draw-activated. The first puff primes the coil — inhale slowly for 2–3 seconds, no need to rip on it. Subsequent puffs respond instantly.
-
4
Watch the display / lights
Sphere 35K has an HD screen showing battery + e-liquid level. Mate 50K uses LED patterns at the base. Both are described in the blinking-code table below.
Mate 50K — Pod Swap Walkthrough
The whole point of the Mate 50K Kit is that you keep the battery and rotate pods. Here's the swap, in 30 seconds.
-
A
Pull empty pod up
The pod sits at the top, held by a magnetic-and-click connector. Grip the pod (not the battery body), pull straight up. It should release with a soft click.
-
B
Wipe contact points
Use a dry tissue or paper towel to wipe the two contact points on top of the battery. Skip the alcohol — moisture in the contacts can short the next pod.
-
C
Click a new pod in
Press a fresh pre-filled Mate 50K Pod straight down. You'll feel and hear the click. Take a slow first draw to prime the new coil.
Blinking Light Codes — What Each Pattern Means
Both devices use LED patterns at the base. Here's the cheat sheet so you know whether to charge it, swap the pod, or open a ticket.
| Pattern | Mate 50K | Sphere 35K | What to do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solid · steady | Normal draw — coil firing. | Normal draw — coil firing. | Nothing. Keep vaping. |
| 3 fast blinks | Low battery. | Low battery (display also shows red bar). | Charge it. 30–45 min on USB-C. |
| 5 fast blinks | Pod not seated correctly. | n/a — Sphere has no removable pod. | Pull pod up, wipe contacts, click back in. |
| Slow pulse (won't stop) | Pod end-of-life — out of e-liquid. | Device end-of-life — display shows 0% liquid. | Mate: swap pod. Sphere: recycle and re-order. |
| 10 fast blinks then off | Short / overheat protection triggered. | Short / overheat protection triggered. | Let device cool 5 min. If repeats, email us. |
| No light, no draw | Battery fully dead. | Battery fully dead. | Plug in to charge. If no charge after 30 min, defective — email service@lostangel-vape.com. |
Troubleshooting — Quick Fixes
Device isn't hitting at all
(1) Check the battery — plug in USB-C for 5 minutes and look for the charge indicator. (2) On the Mate 50K, pull the pod up, wipe contacts, and click it back in firmly. (3) Inhale slower and longer — the draw-activation needs about 1 second of suction to trigger. If none of that works, it's defective — email us.
Flavor tastes burnt
Burnt-coil hit usually means the pod is empty (e-liquid no longer reaching the coil). On the Mate 50K, swap pods. On the Sphere 35K, check the display — if liquid % is below 5%, that's why. Don't try to "push through" a burnt pod; the coil is gone.
Device is leaking
Rare on factory-sealed pods, but possible if the device was stored hot (car dashboard, etc.) or dropped. Wipe the connector, swap to a fresh pod. If the new pod also leaks within 24h, the device body might be cracked — email us with a photo.
Charge indicator never turns off
Usually the cable. Try a different USB-C cable and a different 5V power source. If it still won't fully charge after a different cable, the battery is defective — open a ticket.
Mate 50K pod won't click in
The pod has a clear orientation — the flat side should face forward. If you have it rotated, it sits at an angle and won't click. Pull up, rotate 180°, press down again.
Sphere 35K display is showing weird characters
Soft-reset by leaving it unplugged and unused for 2 hours. If display still shows glitches after that, it's defective — email us with a video and order number.
Charging Routine — Battery Life Tips
- Use a 5V phone charger. Fast-charge bricks (18W+) work but shorten battery lifespan over months. Phone-grade USB-C is the sweet spot.
- Don't charge overnight every night. Once it's full, unplug. Trickle charge for hours can degrade the cell.
- Avoid heat. Don't leave it in a hot car or direct sun. Heat ages e-liquid and the lithium cell.
- Top up before 20%. Letting it run flat repeatedly cuts long-term capacity. Plug in when the indicator first goes red.
Health & Safety Notes
Lost Angel devices contain nicotine, which is an addictive chemical. Adult consumers only (21+). If you don't already use nicotine, don't start. If you're trying to quit, the CDC's quit-smoking resources are a starting point.
Keep devices and pods out of reach of children and pets. Don't expose to fire or extreme heat. Dispose of empty devices at an e-waste / battery recycling drop-off, not in household trash.
